fall fun

Over the last couple of months, we've enjoyed the Fall weather,  lots of pumpkin themes, time outdoors and pretty leaves! There were some super hot Fall days which made me feel like it would never get chilly, so I'm trying to enjoy the colder weather that is now here :)

Our sixth year at this little patch! It's been a warm October so far and in the 80's each day. So a visit to the pumpkin patch, in our summer clothes, it was.

fall bucket list

We've had so much fun doing things on our summer bucket list, we made a Fall one this year too. Currently, we still need to make a pinecone bird feeder and jump in a huge leaf pile... so those are coming soon :) 

pumpkins 2017

I love pumpkin season! So much fun looking at all the different ones... our 5th year to this little patch! The boys loved walking around looking at them and picking out little pumpkins... they both wanted small ones. Bowen loved his stem that he could hook to his finger and would not put it down! 

all things apples

September= apple month to me. It's still so warm, and I'm not quite ready for pumpkins/fall stuff... it just makes sense :) We've also been visiting the apple orchard at the beginning of September over the last few years, so we are eating lots of apple stuff in September. Here's some of our apple fun from the last month or so. 

Bowen cut up (with his little non sharp, kiddie knife) all the apples we needed for our recipe this day... and he did a great job!

apples and peanut butter is a favorite these days... and on this day I introduced them to apple cider :)
