It was a blessing for us to get to travel south for a week of time with our family in the middle of Summer LINK. We haven't been able to join them for vacation for the past two summers and we were excited to spend time at the beach with them. It worked out wonderfully because we were able to spend the end of the week with Chad's family, and then catch the beginning of the vacation week with my family. So we got to spend good, quality time with both.
We spent about four days at Cherry Grove with the Ferrells. We had beautiful weather and great family time. G enjoyed being out on the beach each day. He loves the sand and the water. Grayson would want to jump so much in the water and that is such a work out. Papa's back is probably paying for it this week.
How Eric could sleep through Grayson playing and talking each morning is beyond me...

We were also able to stop by and see lots of my Dad's extended family because they were down there for a week too. It had been a few years since we had seen any of them, so that was nice.
