Life around here has been b-u-s-y. Exciting, overwhelming, crazy, fun, busy, exhausting.... Here's a little glimpse of what's been going on in the past 2 weeks.
We celebrated Chad's 29th birthday with a family day in the mountains.

We celebrated our 6 year anniversary.
We (finally) closed on our FIRST home. We thought we were going to be able to close at the beginning of June, but weren't able to. This was going to be great because we would have a month to do lots of updating and projects. But we closed Thursday, June 19 and have just over one week to tackle some major projects. Chad and I have so many things running through our head all the time right now. Thankfully we have some great family and friends who are helping us this week.
Check out this awesome kitchen (can you hear the sarcasm?) Of course we are keeping the floor...
Within two days of closing, we had almost everything torn out and bought all the supplies to tackle it.

Along with lots of meetings, appointments, packing up where we are currently staying and getting us ready to leave for Honduras (until August) on Saturday, we crash at the end of the day! My goal is to pack all 3 of us in one suitcase. I'm not known to be the lightest packer, so we will see if I can make it happen :)

Love spending the weekend and helping with the new house and of course spending time with everyone. I wish we could have stayed all week.
