A little background information for you...
We both grew up in Durham, NC.
We went to different elementary schools, but the same middle and high school. I cheered for Carrington Middle School and Chad played football there, so I was at all of his games we just never knew each other. It wasn't until Chad's family started attending Ridgecrest that we met. We both went on a trip to Haiti in 2001 and that is the first time we remember each other. I was a freshman, he was a sophomore. Over the next couple of years we hung out as friends, and then Chad's senior year we started dating.

We both went to college at Appalachian State. Go Mountaineers! Chad graduated in 2007 with a communication/public relations degree and I graduated in 2008 with an elementary education degree. We got engaged in Europe in 2007 and then I married my best friend on June 14, 2008 (then had an awesome honeymoon in Aruba). We have the best time together and I grow more in love with him each day.
I taught sweet 2nd graders (the perfect grade) for 3 years and Chad finished seminary at SEBTS in December 2010. In June 2011, we packed up our home and moved to India.
We moved back to the US in August 2012 and our son, Grayson, was born a few months later in November of 2012. Shortly after Grayson was born, we moved to Clemson to work with Crosspoint Church. We finally settled and bought a house in Clemson in the summer of 2014. Our second son, Bowen, was born in January of 2015. And then our third son, Miller, was born in April of 2017.
In the Fall of 2019, we said hard goodbyes to our friends and life in Clemson, and packed up and moved to Charlotte, NC. We are beginning the journey of planting King's Church, and would love for you to follow along as we learn and live in the Queen City.
