We had a Valentine card making party one morning recently. We kicked it off with hot chocolate and then spent time decorating, painting, addressing and stamping. The boys (G especially) are loving crafts lately... and they love mailing letters, so they enjoyed this. A sweet morning with these little loves!

Valentines is becoming one of my favorite little holidays to have fun with. It's just so low-key and sweet! Chad and I aren't big into celebrating Valentines as a couple, but it's fun for us to celebrate with the boys. 

We've been loving the library lately and the boys picked out these valentines books.

and ended our day with the usual game night and dance party :) 

Valentine's fun

We've had fun these past few weeks with all things hearts!

I've been trying to talk and teach G about loving and thinking of others. I struggle enough with my own selfishness, it's hard to teach a three year old to put others before himself and think of ways to love others well. But, I'm trying. And a holiday celebrating love has been a good opportunity to try to do that.

Chad and I don't take pictures together just the two of us very often anymore. So I used the self timer to get one of us on Valentine's Day.  I'm so thankful for how Chad loves me and our family.
