4th of July

4th of July is one of my favs. I love all the patriotism, red, white and blue and summertime fun!
Cuties in red, white and blue...
The boys helped decorate a dessert for our group coming over July 3
grilling out and sparklers with friends
This was also the night I had to say goodbye to the Currys. So sad!
We drove to Durham on July 4 and were able to spend that evening at Papa and Ann's house!
Miller wanted to share everyones homemade icecream. Who can blame him?

I tried to let go of symmetry and organization and let them decorate the dessert...
Look at those cheesy poses!
Totally unposed little hams...

4th of July

We had a great time celebrating the 4th of July up here in Boston. We went to the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular concert on July 3. It was neat to celebrate our country at "America's signature birthday party" with "America's orchestra".
They were giving out these flags to everyone as we walked in and they kept G entertained for days...
at the Esplanade...
Chad and I left with Grayson during intermission and this random group of ladies that was sitting near us stopped us on our way out and said they had been watching Grayson all night. They took turns passing him around, kissing and loving on him. hilarious.
On the 4th, our team was invited to an international students cookout. It was HOT, but a great way to meet new people and share a meal together.

The rest of our team went to watch a fireworks show that evening. Grayson and I skipped out on that since it started really late. We heard plenty from the hotel room. Too bad we couldn't see them from the window...
