fall bucket list

We've had so much fun doing things on our summer bucket list, we made a Fall one this year too. Currently, we still need to make a pinecone bird feeder and jump in a huge leaf pile... so those are coming soon :)

2017 summer bucket list

I love Fall, but I'm pretty sad to see summer go this year! We've had so much fun! We accomplished everything on our bucket list except a trip to Columbia. Maybe we will add that to our Fall Bucket List :)
Here's pictures of some of our bucket list items. And some extras from this summer!
and a couple pics of some indoor fun when it was just too hot or on rainy days...
and this little nugget who has just tagged along with all our hot, summer fun...
Summer, we will miss you! Although I fully plan on living in "summer mode" through September. I mean, it is still 80 degrees :)

2016 summer bucket list

Just like last year, we made a bucket list at the beginning of the summer. We completed them all this year, the hardest one to accomplish being "play all day at home". As much as I love Fall, I'm pretty sad to see these summer days go. We've had so much fun!

And as always, some of our bucket list in pictures...

summer bucket list

We sat down as a family a few months ago and made a bucket list of fun things to do this summer (let's be real, I pretty much made the list... Grayson contributed three things, and Chad laughed at my list). I think it is fun though and hopefully as our kids get older, they can contribute more. We kept it pretty short and simple. It gave us (me) a way to be a little more intentional with our down time.,, because it's so easy to not get motivated to do stuff that requires extra work, getting out or planning!

Our list hung on our fridge over the past few months and we've accomplished all but two of them. Maybe next summer we will catch a sunset on the dikes or play putt-putt :)
G's three contributions were:
1. catch a big fish
2. flick bees (Chad does this at the Botans and G loves it)
3. play in the basketball pool

And here is some of our accomplished list in pictures...
I'm thinking we should do a bucket list for the Fall...
