Durham for Thanksgiving

We are thankful for time in Durham with family over Thanksgiving.
We stopped at a Lidl on the way to Durham. We had a grocery store picnic in the parking lot. So classy :) but it was a total win... the boys got to walk around the grocery store, a cheaper and healthier lunch, and then got to move around while they ate in a grassy area in the corner of the parking lot... which is a win after multiple hours in the car and still more time in the car to come.
We celebrated G's 6th birthday on this Thanksgiving trip...
and Audrey's 1st birthday!
We tried Blaze pizza for the first time... my Lebron fan of a husband enjoyed this :)
Thanksgiving day
like Father, like son...
playing at the church on a cold Black Friday morning
and some afternoon Black Friday shopping for the ladies
a quick Old Salem stop on the way to Clemmons on Saturday
lunch with all the Vestals
and a quick stop in Mooresville on the way home!

Grayson's 6th birthday party

Grayson's been talking about having a sheriff party probably since the day after his 5th birthday party. He requested to have it in Durham this year, because he really wanted his Uncle Eric "a real sheriff" and cousin Keller to come. We celebrated while we were there for Thanksgiving and G loved it. Simple and special night celebrating our oldest boy!
Cops and donuts just go together, right?

Durham/ Unite Conference

Chad had the Unite Conference the week of October 15. We tagged along and got lots of time with family and friends.

Lunch with the Harpers at American Tobacco

After nap time, we went out to a favorite fun little pumpkin patch, Smith Family Farm, with all the Reyners and Nana and Papa. I should've gotten some group pictures!
Our boys love this slide!
After the pumpkin patch, we had a big family dinner and cupcakes for dessert where we found out we are having another niece!
On Friday, Aunt Jeanne came for the day and we walked to the fire station and got a tour.

We celebrated Scott's birthday on Friday night
and Eric's birthday on Saturday
Thankful for these weeks with family!
