apple fun

I love a good theme unit and September is perfect for apples! We usually have tons of apples after our orchard trips and Aldi has had them on sale a lot! It also helps that all 3 of my boys love apples, and so we've had lots of apple snacks, apple recipes and apple crafts. So much apple fun!

Chattooga Belle Farm

This is one of the prettiest places! It's so calm, peaceful and refreshing. 2 years ago we went at the same time... the Friday of move in week. It's a nice break and a little get-a-way! And we picked some great Granny Smith apples for apple cakes :) Sitting in the rocking chairs and just watching the boys run around and play= the best!

Sky Top 2018

We went to Sky Top with the Dentons, Rays and Currys while everyone was in town for Rob's graduation. It was such a sweet weekend together! Sky Top never disappoints and it was so refreshing to be in the mountains!
