Once upon a time,
in the far off land of Slovakia.
A knight and a princess were at the gorgeous Devin castle ruins.
These two had been fond of each other for a long time,
and were up at the top of the castle enjoying the views.
The castle sat where the Morava river and the Danube river meet.
It was a beautiful sight.
The princess loved looking around at all of the sights.
She especially loved looking out over the quaint little European town of Devin.
Suddenly, the knight wanted to go down and look around at the bottom of the ruins.
The princess was reluctant to go because she was enjoying the view with the royal family/friends at the top.
With a little complaining, she followed the handsome knight down the stairs.
The knight led her to the ruins at the bottom of the castle.
He began to say how he had wanted to tell her something for a long time.
In an attempt to guard her heart, he had told her many years ago that he would not tell her "I love you" until he could put a ring on her finger and promise her forever.
He said those 3 words and asked the princess to marry him and be his bride.
The princess was so surprised and couldn't really focus on anything except how bad her knees were shaking.
She eventually said "yes" and the two took in the moment and the excitement.
The knight told the princess to look up to the top of the castle where everyone was watching and cheering from high above.
Everyone (especially their two moms) rushed down to celebrate with them.
The couple planned a wedding for the following June,
and they lived happily ever after.
