Joyner Park

While G and I were in Wake Forest yesterday, we had about an hour of free time. I decided to take him up to Joyner Park to run around for a little bit. Chad and I spent so much time there when we lived in Wake Forest.  Like this picnic, or this time with friends, or our many runs there... even thinking about me running makes me laugh :)

I was thankful I happened to have my camera with me because it was a beautiful day... get ready for some cheesy G smiles.
always with his hands behind his back...
As we walked around and played I couldn't help but think about the many times Chad and I had been at the park during our time in Wake Forest. So crazy and neat to see our little boy running around and sitting and playing in the same places.

top 10

We are officially moved from our home in Wake Forest (as of last Saturday). We LOVED Wake Forest and will be sad not to live there with the community we grew to love so much.  Here are some of the things (in no particular order) of what we will miss most about Wake Forest.

#1- Mexican dinner dates at our favorite restaurant (Los Tres Magueyes) with some of our most favorite people. This was last Thursday on our last Los dinner date :(
 #2- Downtown WF
#3- Gregory- (I don't think we will have any backyard groundhog friends in India)
#4- Joyner Park. We visited this park about 3-4 times each week. It is beautiful and was less than 1 mile from our home. This is where we had a lot of picnics and where we ran.
#5- All of our immediate family and all of our grandparents living within an hour from us.

#6- My school and the people I worked with. I had the privilege to work at the BEST elementary school and was so blessed to have wonderful colleagues.
Our last day of working together...
My classroom... then and now...
#7- The convenience of restaurants/stores/shopping. Everything was so close!

#8- Daylight Donuts. enough said.
#9- Our friends. Especially the ones we have lived alongside since college.
# 10- Our first home
We will miss you Wake Forest!
