Super Bowl 2018

We decided the day of the Super Bowl to invite some friends over for the game that night. I was putting some decorations out that afternoon and Grayson wanted to help me. 

He told me the front door needed something and did this... I hope he learns to love inviting people in and sharing life with others!

 the ladies played some games after the boys went to bed and the guys finished up the game :)

We were hopeful that the Broncos would win, but sadly, that wasn't the case. Win or lose, we enjoyed having people over to watch the game (and half time and the commercials). 

We had quite the spread of food. It was all delicious. Appetizers and dips are my favorite! Chad and I made sliders, pizza bites and chocolate covered pretzels. (I have yet to master doing anything with melted chocolate, but the sprinkles were very forgiving.)

The ladies hung out in the kitchen until half time :)

Maybe Chad will get to see Peyton win his 2nd super bowl another year...

Superbowl XLIV

We watched the Superbowl last night with some of our WF/ App friends. Chad even wore his Colts shoes, but sadly it wasn't enough to see his Colts win.

Marshall and Rachel had us all predict the final score as we entered the par-tay. Rach was dead on guessing what the Saints scored! I was pretty close, but had the teams reversed.

Even though the team Chad and I were cheering for didn't win, it was a fun way to kick off a busy week!
