t-ball 2018

Our second t-ball season is in the books. Bowen *technically* is not old enough to play. But, he totally was a part of the team this year... and really played great! He wore Grayson's jersey from last year, Chad's coaches hat, and Grayson's three sizes too big cleats and even mostly looked the part. And he loved being a part of the team. Chad, Matt and Will worked together to coach the team. The kiddos named the team "the blue fast tiger cheetah cavaliers" (Chad learned maybe not to let the 4 and 5 year olds try to decide on the name) or "blue tigers" for short. Here's a bunch of t-ball pics from the season. It's crazy to me the changes over the less than 2 month season. The grass goes from dead to green, we go from freezing out there to sweating, Miller went from crawling to walking!

March 26- first t-ball practice! and so excited! they'd only talked about t-ball starting for months and months!

first T-ball season

We debated whether or not to start team sports this year. G is still so young and we know we probably have many years of baseball, basketball, practices, games and uniforms ahead of us. But when a group of our friends decided to all do it together we decided it would be good to spend time with them, meet others, and of course we thought G would love it. Almost all of our games got rained out and they ended up adding an extra week to the season so we could play a few games.

first practice
go cubs!
please notice Bowen in the back with the batting helmet on. I think he thought he was part of the team... especially in the beginning.
a fav part of T-ball= after game snacks
all 4 grandparents got to come see him practice or play a game. Pop Pop giving some pointers...
I should've gotten a pic of all the moms on the sidelines (a lot of us chasing littles around and trying to keep them off the field- that's a sport in and of itself). Lauren got this one, haha...
