Ever since coming home from India, we have been living at my parents house, in their upstairs apartment. They have an awesome upstairs that completely shuts itself off and has a living room, kitchenette area, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a bonus room (that we have pretty much taken over as a storage room). They graciously let us live up there (kind of indefinitely) and we consider it such a blessing! We had/have no idea where we would be heading next and it is great that we have this place while we are in transition and prayerfully considering "what's next".
That being said, I know it might sound crazy to you that we moved from another country, with no set place we were/are going, no jobs, no place of our own, and a baby coming in just 2.5 short months BUT we are totally content and just thankful. We feel really blessed that my parents have this great space that they are willing to let us use and that we can be so close to both of our families during this season.
My youngest brother (who is a senior in college) had all of his stuff in this upstairs bedroom, but it is much larger than the other one upstairs so we switched so there would be room for the baby (thanks Tuck!). There is this great little area when you first walk in to the bedroom, and we have deemed it the baby nook/area, and we love it!
Tuck had that bulletin board screwed in the wall already, so I just covered it in fabric and have hung some baby stuff on it.
There are even two closets in the bedroom, so Grayson has his own, and we have it stuffed full of baby stuff!
So now, we just wait for a baby...
