farmers market

This past Saturday was a gorgeous morning for the farmers market. It's the first day I haven't sweated in forever! We enjoyed a few hours walking around, eating and sampling things, and just enjoying being outside.
This is such a fun little kids story time on Saturday mornings at the cutest bookstore downtown
Bowen gets bored listening to the books, but he enjoyed climbing the steps and spotting dogs...
and they give out mini Chocolate Moose cupcakes afterwards :)

farmers market

We've been to lots of farmers markets, in lots of different cities, and Greenville's is my favorite! The first Saturday of 2016 was this past weekend and it was a BEAUTIFUL day for it.
my favorite!
There are lots of huge hydrangea bushes in Falls Park, and they were just starting to bloom.
They also had the Reedy River Duck Derby going on downtown on this day, so there was tons of kids stuff to do. We had so much fun!
he was fascinated...
can you spot G and B?
One of Grayson's favorite things to do right now is throw pennies in the many fountains of downtown Greenville. We always try to make sure we have a handful for him.
I think we wear Bowen out :)

Farmers Market

Last Saturday was the first day in weeks that it wasn't over 80 degrees early in the morning. Perfect morning to hit up the Greenville Farmers Market. And it was such a great morning for it! We strolled around downtown, walked through the market, sampled lots of stuff, hung out in Falls Park and then let G play in the little kids splash pad downtown before walking back through the market a little more. Such sweet family time!
Bowen even chased the same ducks in the park that Grayson did 2 years ago (you can see that here).

time in Durham

Chad attended a 'Harvesting the Heart of India' conference last week at the Summit Church, which meant we got to stay in Durham and see family and friends. Of course we always love any time there! Here are some pictures from our week.

Aunt Jeanne drove in as we did on Tuesday to see us Grayson.
G really liked Aunt Jeanne's teeth...
playing peek-a-boo with Pop Pop
G took a bath in the big tub!
I was able to meet up with several friends while we were there and meet Liam for the first time.
Mom and I got to go on an afternoon shopping trip while G spent a lot of the day with Nana and Papa. They got to see just how busy he is right now!
We visited with Bett and Chuck.
Eric came home for the weekend and we had yummy steaks for dinner.
Saturday was one of the first days where it felt like a bit of Fall crispness in the air. We went to the Farmers Market for just a bit and ate at the food trucks.
G also started doing this crazy face during the week...
