Over the Memorial Day Weekend, Chad and I headed down to Wilmington to go camping with some friends at Wrightsville Beach. We left Friday as soon as I got off work and came home Monday afternoon. The forecast was looking really rainy at the beginning of the week and we almost called the trip off. I am so glad we didn't because the weather turned out perfect and we had a wonderful time. It took group efforts to set up the tents...Chad and I... our home for the long weekend

We spent Saturday and Sunday on the beach. The boys played lots of disc golf, some regular golf and joined us at the beach in the afternoons. On Saturday night we decided to go out to dinner. Here is how we prepped for dinner... (gotta love Ashley's hair. She was trying to get it to scrunch/curl- ahhh China memories :) love it) Rachel, Ashley, Brooke and me before dinner Dinner at The Oceanic at Wrightsville. It was a great restaurant and we had a great view! We roasted Marshmallows on Saturday night and made Smores Marshall was not happy because I made them all look to take a picture and his marshmallows burned. oops. Our tent village. The boys playing bocce ball on the beach Hotdogs on Sunday night. We also went to Krispy Kreme after dinner. Poor Brooke- the combo did not go over well and her last night camping was not fun. She probably won't be eating either for a little while. Hope you are feeling better, Brooke! We loved getting away with friends, camping and spending time together! Thanks for planning the trip Adam and Ashley- it was a great idea! Maybe it should be an annual thing!
