This past Friday (May 1), a camera crew from the Rachael Ray Show came out to my school to film for three hours to record the wellness initiative program that Long Mill has taken. They did several interviews and filmed around the school. We found out today that supposedly the segment is going to air tomorrow (May 7, 2009) on the Rachael Ray Show. Bill Clinton is going to be on the show talking about childhood obesity, so I'm guessing they will work it into that story. I don't know if it will be a little 20 second "mention" or if the Long Mill part will be a significant segment. Either way... it is exciting and fun! Watch the show (or DVR) at 10:00 am if you can and listen out for Long Mill Elementary!

Rachael Ray Show!

You can watch the clip from the show online too! I just did! :) They didn't say Long Mill, but they showed it quite a few times!!!
