Chad and I got to go to New York City from Thursday to Sunday with the Ferrell Family. Cindy had a work trip there and so Art, Eric, Chad and I went along with her. We had a wonderful time and were blessed to be able to go!

We got to go to a Yankees Game on Thursday night. It was fun to be there during the Inaugural Season and the new stadium is really nice! They played the Boston Red Sox and beat them 13 to 6.
Friday afternoon we all went to Chinatown and Little Italy. Of course, while we were in Little Italy Chad had to get a Cannoli at the place that advertised "the best cannoli on Planet Earth!"
On Friday night the 5 of us got tickets to go see Shrek, which is one of the newer shows on Broadway.
I love, love, love Broadway shows and thought this was a fun and entertaining one. We all really enjoyed seeing it.
On Saturday night we ate dinner in Little Italy and then went to Juniors in Times Square for dessert.
Sunday morning, even though our legs/feet were pretty sore from all of the walking we had been doing, Chad and I got up and went to Central Park for a couple hours. We took the metro up to the top of the park (110th street) and then walked in the park to 68th street. It was beautiful.
It was a great trip and fun to get away with family one last time before school starts!

I love that Chad got a cannoli - I will make sure to bring it up in Sunday School =) Also, did you stop by and say hey to Monica & Chandler while you were there? I bet the twins are so big now ;)
SO... was it the best cannoli place on earth?? I'm dying to know!!
