This past weekend, we had 20 young adult/college students join us for our fall retreat in Boone. It was a weekend of fellowship and studying spiritual disciplines. The weather could not have been more beautiful and it was a very refreshing and fun weekend. Rach, Brooke and I all left work around lunch on Friday to head up to Boone. We got there, checked into the cabin rental place, ran to some stores, did some grocery shopping, grabbed dinner and met the rest of the crew at the cabin. We didn't go to the cabin before we went to the grocery store so we still had a car full of luggage, sleeping bags and pillows. Poor Brooke, we had to pack her into the car and she had to ride around like this. Rach had bags around her in the front as well. 
It was a great group, Chad and I enjoyed the weekend so much!

I LOVED getting to sit on the porch with a hot drink and read or talk.
15 of us went to the ASU/Chattanooga game on Friday. It was a great game. ASU won 35 to 20.
It was great to be in Boone and great to hang out with this group!

You and Chad were great leaders and organized a wonderful retreat. Thank you SO much...it was very fun, refreshing, and encouraging.
