Today was the last day with students and it was SUCH AN EXCITING DAY! I think I smiled all day! It has been a GREAT year but also very challenging and I am going to thoroughly enjoy some time off! It is so nice to work at a job that has an 8 week break! Teachers certainly need it; until you spend 7 hours a day, 5 days a week with students, you will never understand. I have a couple workdays, but those are enjoyable, leisurely, and it is a treat to get to go to the bathroom whenever you need to (I know, it's the little things). I will miss my class. They have come so far since the start of the year and it is hard to start ALL over in August. I just can't get over the fact that I just finished my 2nd year already. How did that happen?
