All of a sudden we have been thrown back into the routine of school/class/work. I'm not sure how it happened so fast. One week we are spending all day together, leisurely doing whatever we please on our own schedule and then SUDDENLY we have classes and meetings and schedules and appointments. So we are readjusting. I am very thankful to have such a great job that I love, it just takes time to get back into the swing of things.
Here are our cheesy first day of school pictures...
Chad started his LAST semester of seminary (Aug 19) and today I started my 3rd year of teaching 2nd grade. It went good; it is just an exhausting day. 1 down, 179 days to go! Do you think it is to early to start the countdown until summer vacation?
Here are a few pics of things I have been doing these past few days to prepare.
Cards/chocolate for my team for the first day
Chad and I stuffed folders Tuesday night
This is the start of my new little reading corner in my class.
Chair= from another teacher who didn't want it anymore,
rug= share shop,
strange cow pillow= from Allison... I take whatever I can get :)
It is hard to believe it is Chad's last semester at SEBTS and it is already my 3rd year of teaching. How did that happen so quick?!

Your classroom is SUPER cute! Welcome back to work Mrs. Ferrell :) And you guys are too funny with your first day of school pics - love it!
I like your classroom. It is so cute! Thanks for posting. I just prayed for your year and class too. Your kids are blessed to have you as a teacher.

If I had kids I'd want them to have Mrs. Ferrell as a teacher! Your room and organization and thoughtfulness is great!
