Last weekend I helped Ashley at the SEBTS Craft and Bake Sale. She was selling the Mary Kay products that were donated to her to raise money for their adoption. So exciting! It was a fun event to be at and I enjoyed spending the day with Ashley. She had a successful day!
One thing I love about things like the craft sale is that you get lots of great crafty ideas. It is definitely an event that inspires me to try to make some of the things I see.
This past summer I saw some cute magnetic bulletin boards for sale for about $40. I picked one up and realized it was just fabric and steel. Simple! Chad and I went to Lowes and I picked up some fabric and made my own for under $10. It now sits on my desk at work.
This past summer I also saw lots of DIY fabric rosette tutorials on the craft blogs. I tried to make some of them as well and found lots of different things to do with them.
THEN at the craft fair this past weekend I saw one table that had the rosettes made out of ribbon. So of course I wanted to try that as well. I thought they were a little harder...
but still fun to play around with!

Thanks for helping, you're the best! I couldn't have done it without you!
I love your fabric rosettes! Do you think you could send me the links where you found the tutorials? I have been looking for a simple DIY for these!
