On Friday we took a team day trip to Mandu to check out some forts. We all piled in the cars and drove a couple hours away to the forts. They were really cool and beautiful!
Check out this poinsettia. I had no idea they grew like that!!
I think the picture below looks like we are standing in front of a painting.
This woman was beating washing some blankets at the fort
such cool detail
All the little stands leading up to the entrance of one of the forts
I thought these steps were pretty cool, but they were a little scary to go down.
life with Chad is never dull :)
On our way home, we drove through lots of little villages until we got to the main road. There are so many crazy, "I wish I could get my camera out that fast" things we pass. We stopped to take a picture of this one. That is a bunch of onions in front of this home. wow! and there were more to the side and lots in bags. Maybe they had just picked the field and were getting ready to bring them to the city to sell?
We passed a lot of cotton fields too. Brandy thought it would be cool to have some to teach/show the kids- Chad jumped out and got some on our way home. We were hoping no one would see us and start yelling/get upset that we were taking their crops.
