Milan

We l-o-v-e-d our time in Italy. It was great for us to have this trip in between our India time and returning to the US. We were able to spend lots of time together just talking, reflecting and enjoying the vacation. We know it's probably the last trip of us traveling together like this for a little while. We considered it our babymoon, 4 year anniversary, birthday/Christmas present trip :)

We did 10 days in Italy....

1 night in Milan

2 nights in Venice

3 nights in Cinque Terre

1 night in Florence

3 nights in Rome

We flew into Milan and arrived at our hotel around 7pm. We threw our bags in the hotel room and took the nearest Subway to the main square. We knew we didn't have much time in Milan since we were catching a train to Venice early the next morning.

 we found a McDonalds in the Galleria and decided that was the perfect place to eat for our first dinner in Italy :) hellllooo beef!

 and of course we had to get gelato (as we did every single day) 

We hung out in the square for a little while before heading back to our hotel and crashing from our long travel day. A quick little view of Milan, but glad we got to see even a little bit!
