On Saturday we headed to Boone with Art and Cindy for the day. They had tickets to the football game and it was Eric's 20th birthday (his golden birthday!).
The drive up the mountain was gorgeous. I think it was probably peak leaf weekend in the mountains.
We met the birthday boy for lunch at Macado's and then walked around King Street. There was definitely a chill in the air!
We dropped the three of them off at the game and headed to Stick Boy Bread Company... one of our favorite bakery and coffee shops. Can't beat their cream cheese cinnamon roll!
Later that afternoon we got to hang out with Preston and Jennifer and meet their sweet new baby!
Fall, family, friends, and all of our Boone favorites... that makes for a great day!
