Today we celebrate Grayson's half birthday!
6 months with this handsome little guy...
G is about 18 pounds.
Size 3 diapers and anywhere from 6-12 month clothes.
He is still nursing 4 times a day. We started rice cereal yesterday. I guess starting solid foods is our half birthday present to him... If he is anything like his dad, the boy will love food :)
Sleeps from about 8:30-7:15, with a morning and an afternoon nap ranging anywhere from 45 minutes-2.5 hours.
He is into everything! His little arms are usually straight out in front of him trying to grab anything he sees. Especially when we are sitting at the table. Everything now has to be pushed out of his reach.
He has started to reach for us when we go to pick him up. Melt. my. heart.
He got his first little cold this month (this week). He has had a stuffy/runny nose for a few days. Maybe it's allergies? So pitiful.
He is drooling. A lot. But no signs of any teeth.
He still loves his exersaucer. It keeps him so entertained. He especially loves these little felt feathers on top of this birds head. He chews on them all the time. It is so funny! They are always soaking wet when we get him out of the exersaucer.
He is all over the floor now. I will put him down in one place and within minutes he has inched/squirmed his way somewhere else. He does lots of 360 degree turns.
G has lots of toys, but he really prefers anything that is not a toy. His favorites are my hair (and he stuffs it straight in his mouth. gross.), spoons, straws, cups and car keys.
He is sitting up independently, but only if we sit him in that position.

He is getting to be such a wiggle worm and so squirmy. He will try to wiggle out of our arms or reach down to the floor when we are holding him... like he wants to get down and run around. We have to remind him, he doesn't know how to crawl or walk yet.

He has a big, open mouth smile that he does when he gets excited.
He is just changing so much right now! It seems like each week he is doing different stuff from the week before.

He is looking like such a little boy - Especially when he is sitting up. I remember the 360° turns and traveling... you are on the verge of having a crawler! And he is too cute getting all tangled in the sheets. And love that one at the bottom with his hand on your face.
