For Chad's day off on Friday we decided to do a little day trip to a few places around here. We made a big circle and made stops in Flat Rock, Hendersonville, Traveler's Rest and Greenville.
This may rank up there as one of my most favorite days.
Mountains.
Apple Orchard fun.
Quality family time.
Blue skies.
Leaves changing.
Fall weather.
Coffee.
Pumpkins.
Good eating.
What's not to like!?
First stop: The Sky Top Orchard in Flat Rock, NC
We hit up the sample table and the hot apple cider donuts first. No surprise there :)
It was SUCH a beautiful day!
In true baby fashion, G just wanted to gnaw on the apples.
He tried several different kinds.
G just thought it was cool to grab all of the "balls" in the trees.
We partook in an apple cider slushie and then hit the road.
We stopped at Hubba Hubba Smokehouse on our way to Hendersonville. It was delicious.
Stop # 2: downtown Hendersonville for some walking around and exploring
Stop # 3: Traveler's Rest to relax for a bit and hang out at the coffee shop
Stop # 4: Greenville for the evening to play at a park and meet my parents and some of their friends for dinner before heading back to Clemson
A full day, but oh so fun!

1. The apple cider slushie sounds amazing.
2. The doughnut is also making me drool.
3. Love the red accordion wagon - we have the same one!
4. Just love those pics of G gnawing on those apples :)
You have by the far the cutest little family!! What a fun sounding day!
Glad we were a part of it at the end!! Loved G dancing in the restaurant - wish I had taken a video! Love the orchard pictures - so beautiful!!
I can feel the cool breeze and fresh air!! I loveee Fall! Next time we both need to go!!!!
That does sound like a perfect day! I love Hawaii, but I really miss Fall in the mountains. Pumpkin-stuff just doesn't taste the same here. And those are some awesome pictures of G with the apple wagon!
