Here are a few randoms from our time in Durham.
We all 3 had nasty colds that lasted for about a week. G even ran a pretty high fever for about 3 days. It was about 104 on Christmas night. The doctor tested him for the flu, but that came back negative. No fun!
My parents don't have a dog, but had 3 different dogs at their house over the 2 weeks we were there. Grayson loves playing with a dog leash. We attached it to Mandy and he loved walking her around the house. He would pick up her leash and walk towards someone saying "please, please".... wanting you to attach it to Mandy.
We went to Maggianos with my family one night. Scott loves their chocolate cake and decided to try to eat a whole piece himself. It is a HUGE piece of cake. He didn't quite finish it, but put forth great effort :)
The men competed in the annual disc golf invitational. Chad won this year!
I got to meet up with Brooke and Rach for a couple laps around the track one day.
I got so spoiled! Grayson got quality grandparent time and I got time to clean some stuff out, blog, drink coffee and enjoy myself! This was such a treat for me! Thanks grandparents!
A little 4 wheelin with Papa.
Thanks to grandparents again, we got about 5 straight hours of quality time and conversation with the Blalocks one night. So thankful for their friendship!
On New Years Day we went over to play with Bennett. I guess B was showing G some tricks on his new motorized 4-wheeler.
Grayson didn't quite understand how to work B's 4 wheeler.
So Bennett showed G how it is done. He kept leaning back onto Grayson. Thankfully Kevin was running behind to keep G from falling off. Brooke and I had a good laugh.
G got lots of trips around the house on his train. As soon as someone would stop pushing he would say "please, please"
pure joy...
Pop Pop snuggles
On Friday we got to spend a little time with Bett.
I got out my bin full of beanie babies and it occupied G for about 20 minutes. That's not bad!
