Our little Bowen is now 2 and a half!
He weighs 27.5 pounds and wears 2T clothes. We just moved him into size 4 diapers this week.

He naps for about 1.5-2 hrs each day and sleeps from about 8pm-7am each night. He still sleeps in a pack and play and I have no intentions of moving him out anytime soon. I don't think he'll stay in a big boy bed the way Grayson has, so I don't want to give him that freedom yet. He can climb out of his pack and play, but thankfully seems to listen to us telling him he can not and should not climb out.
My plan is to potty train him probably in August after some of our trips are over. Who wants to travel with a newly potty trained kiddo? Not me.
His biggest change since 2 and a quarter is moving into the role of middle brother. He's also become wide open in the last few months. Not sure if these are related, but he's a little wild man lately.
With that said, he LOVES his "Mi-uh" (Miller). His love is often in the form of yelling in his face, diving next to him, and squeezing him a little too tight, but it's love none the less. I work hard to channel his love into a more quieter, safer, gentler form of love for Miller's sake.

His vocabulary has come SO far in the last few months! He can still be hard to understand for others, but we typically know just what he's saying. And he has added so many words and is making much better sentences. His little voice is my favorite!
Some favorites:
-What's your name? "Bowen John Ferrell" every.single.time.
-What's your name? "Bowen John Ferrell" every.single.time.
-"me wee it" or "no me wee it"... for "I see it" or "I don't see it"
-"no me know" for "I don't know"
-"me help my mama"
*clearly I need to work on him saying "I" instead of "me"
Lately when he has a stinky diaper, we say "shoo-wee you are a stinky pete" and after we've changed him, he runs away saying "no me pete now!"

He has started wanting to pray and lately he prays "Jesus loves me. Amen."
He will do whatever Grayson wants to do and thinks any of G's ideas are the greatest and anything G laughs at, Bowen laughs at. I remind G often that he needs to set a good example for his brother.
He loves to dress himself and can put on socks and shoes himself.
We are currently working very hard on listening and obeying the first time.
He is so expressive and silly and his eyes/looks he gives us help him get away with way more than he should.

He still likes us to sing him away in a manger at night, and asks for it by cradling his arms together.
It's crazy how recently he has so quickly changed from my little guy to seeming so big!
He's a mess and we love him lots!
G and B at 2.5- I think they look so different!
