2 months have already flown by with this sweet baby!
A little less than 11 pounds, 23.5 inches long, size 1 diapers, 3 month clothes (and some of those seem to be getting a little small!)
You are nursing every 3ish hours and are still such a quick eater.
You like to take long, hard naps. If we were at home, you would take 2 or 3 three hour naps. But you are also mostly content to just nap on the go and get little naps here and there.
You still sleep great at night and never cry. You wake up once, sometimes twice, and go right back to sleep.
You started smiling and we love to get smiles out of you!
You try to hold your head up all the time and are much more sturdy.
You like a paci and it will usually calm you down if you're fussy.
Your brothers still adore you.
You love your playmat recently and your brothers love to turn the music on it and you just smile and smile.
Just in the last few days you've liked getting your fists in your mouth and sucking on them.
You had an ER visit and hospital stay this month. At 5 weeks old, Bowen shared a little cold with you and after being very congested and snotty/snorty for a few days, you started running a little fever. It hit 100.4 and after talking with the pediatrician and them hearing you breathing over the phone, they suggested we take you to the ER. This was on memorial day, so naturally the ER was the only choice. After running a bunch of tests, chest X-rays (and more chest X-rays because they thought they saw pneumonia), spending the night for monitoring, they concluded it was a virus and sent us home where you cleared up pretty fast. IV's, blood being drawn, catheters were not fun to watch, but it made me thankful for good healthcare and healthy children. I was thankful they felt like they got what they needed and you never had to have a spinal tap done (the standard procedure for newborns with a fever).
You are the most content and easy going baby.
We all love you so much and are so thankful for you!
