We are almost to 3 years old and that's crazy!
He's still such a little guy. He has the smallest waist and still weighs about 28 pounds. He can wear 2T and some 3T stuff.

He's napping for about 2 hours each afternoon.
This was a big quarter of change: no booster seat at the table, big boy bed, potty trained like a champ
He went through some very whiny weeks. Thankfully, lately it's been better. For a little while I felt like we said things like "you need to ask without whining" all day long.
He loves to play with "G-G" and looks up to him a lot.

Bowen has been wild these last few months. all over the place, trouble listening, a runner... but I think we are starting to make progress. G went through this stage too and I remember thinking it seemed never-ending. Sometimes it still amazes me that I can easily take G to the grocery store and he walks beside me without grabbing everything and running away... I'm sure this day will come with Bowen too! Everything is a season!
He is funny. Chad and I laugh at him constantly. Too which he always replies "why woo laughin?"
He often says "my best friend! my best friend!" when he sees Miller (who is still affectionately called "Mi-uh")

He has a huge vocabulary, and talks all the time but not many people can understand him. Some of our closer friends and family are saying they can understand him more lately, so maybe he is getting better? Grayson still understands him the best and is very helpful if Chad and I are struggling to know what he is saying. I realized recently that I always repeat him to translate for others... it's just habit. I consider myself bilingual since I usually know his language :) Speech may be in our future.
He is also LOUD and only has one level of volume.

His unit of measurement lately is always "daddy's head". He uses it SO often. "That sandcastle is as big as daddy's head!" or "that donut is as big as daddy's head!" We have no idea where is came from, but each time he says it, I laugh and Chad rolls his eyes :)

He says "o-tay!"
"that makes my belly reallllllly happy"
"that is wo, wo winky" for so, so stinky or "wo, wo willy" for so, so silly.... "wo winky" is one of our fav things to say :)
He says "may-ee" for maybe at the beginning of so many sentences. If we see a squirrel in the yard... "may-ee he looking for his mama", "may-ee he looking for a nut to eat", "may-ee he ready to go night-night"
do-nup for donut

He is cutttttte and silly and we love him bunches!
