Miller: 9 months

Our baby is 9 months today!

You are about 17 pounds. Size 3 diapers. And starting to get a little snug in your 9 month clothes. 

You have made HUGE improvements in your sleep from last month. You still have a hard time going down for naps every now and then, but nothing like it was last month while we were traveling for Christmas. I have cut out feeding you at all during the night, but you generally still wake up once and I usually just give you a paci or you cry for a bit and go back to sleep. I'm hoping once you get used to not being fed, you will not wake up. The past week or so you've woken up around 6:20... probably because you're hungry since you're getting use to not eating during the night, 

The biggest change this month has probably been food. You are eating so much table food now! (really just in the last week) You are more and more eating what we eat. You made it pretty clear you did not want purees and we just never looked back. You are SO messy after each meal and the floor is always so dirty! I think I could bathe you after each meal. 

You crawl fast, are all over the house and head straight for the bathroom to unroll the toilet paper any chance you get. We have to try to keep the bathroom door closed at all times. If you disappear, you've almost always snuck into the bathroom and are sitting happily at the toilet paper. 

Your brothers love to grab you, try to pick you up, roll around on the floor with you... you make it clear to them when you do not want to be messed with. I feel like I say "leave him alone" all the time. 

Your hair has come in a lot! It's fine and blonde. 

We've taught you some tricks! You will raise your arms up when we say "How big is Miller?" and stick your tongue out when Daddy and your brothers say "Miller, say ahhhhhh" 

You shake your head when we say "no"

You still say "da da da da" all day. 

You had a bad cold, cough, and strep throat at the beginning of the month. Considering all that, you weren't that fussy, you just looked terrible. 

You put every. little. thing. in your mouth. 

You upgraded to a big boy carseat because our infant seat expired. Can't say it phased you at all.
