When we moved to our townhouse in Wake Forest, Chad and I certainly didn't think there would be a plethora of wildlife in our backyard. We definitely have several creatures that like to call our backyard their home as well. The most odd of those is probably our groundhog... Greg. Now Greg is not your average groundhog. He is a beast of a groundhog.
Greg is really shy and runs right into the brush whenever he sees me, so I have to be sneaky to get his picture!
In this picture, you can kind of see his "shoulders" (as Brooke likes to call them). Kevin and Brooke were eating dinner in our kitchen recently and I believe when Greg appeared in the backyard he was compared to a bear cub.
We also have some bunnies.
and some deer... who enjoyed quite the feast on our vegetable plants this summer.
In the picture below, this deer had found something to eat in our backyard...
With his mouth open like that it reminded me of another time an animal looked similar...
Apparently this horse from our Spring College Retreat in 2006 didn't like whatever Brooke and I were feeding it. (Brooke and I discuss this horses facial expressions frequently and have a good laugh).

HAHAHA!!!! Gregory!! He totally has shoulders. That is the biggest groundhog I have ever seen - reminds me of the beaver I saw behind Target ;)
I really like the name greg! I hardly ever see groundhogs so thats really cool they are in your yard!
