a merry little christmas

Merry Christmas!

The song "have yourself a merry little Christmas" has played through my mind a lot the past few days. Chad and I are in Delhi at the guesthouse. Not at all the Christmas we had planned. While I am recovering and resting, we have had lots of time to reflect, pray, laugh, talk, and enjoy some quiet time together. No gifts this year, no other family, no decorations.... just us. Today we used the technology we had to create a little more of a "normal" Christmas ambiance (yes, we are that dorky :). A little Christmas music, fire, the lights of a Christmas tree, crawling under the blanket of our bunk bed and enjoying some more quiet time together, reflecting on our Savior's birth and what a good God we serve.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

Christy, so glad you are ok and hopefully on the way to recovery. Sorry Christmas is different this year, but hoping the time you guys get to spend together and reflect on the Savior is a sweet, sweet time :) Merry Christmas and love from Slovakia!

I am thankful for the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ, our SAVIOR, our redeemer, our comforter, our peace, our healer. Praising HIM that you, your mom and dad are still here to say Merry Christmas!!! Merry Christmas with so much love!!!
