We had the best time apple picking in the mountains of NC last year, and so we were looking forward to going back this year. We had a free day this past Friday and decided we might as well go ahead and go because we may not have another chance in the next month or so. It was kind of gray out and a little drizzly, but that didn't stop us from having a great time and leaving with a bunch of apples. Grayson had the BEST time and it was such a fun day with him. Here is picture overload (as always, it's just so fun to document!) of some of our morning at Sky Top.
We hit up the hot apple cider doughnuts first :)
We went to see some of the animals before picking apples. There are several different animals to see, but the goats were G's favorite. He was timid at first (notice him clinging to Chad) but warmed up pretty quickly and loved it!
We visited a few more animals and then hit the road.
We (again) went to Hubba Hubba Smokehouse for lunch and then headed on to Greenville for the afternoon and evening.

I love how we have entered the little trucks and cars phase. He loves them and I love how he fell asleep holding them.
We would reccomend going to Sky Top. We've already made a big thing of applesauce and an apple cake!
And check out the difference in G this year and last year at Sky Top. I can't get over how much he's changed!
10 months old vs. 22 months (same shirt!)
